Do’s and don’ts on a short sell
I have just recently been asked about what should I do or not do in my Chula Vista short sale or San Diego short sale and here are some of the questions and answers to what I've been asked.
  1. 1.     Somebody wants to charge me before they do my short sell, should I pay them?  Nope you’re not to pay any money when doing your short sell ahead of time.
  2. 2.     Somebody is asking me to sign off my title to them, should I do that? Do not do that, there is no reason why someone should be asking you to be put on title if they’re helping you, all they should do this help you.
  3. 3.     If they promise to rent me after the short sale is over, should I let them? If someone is promising you to rent the property after the short sell is over be very careful.
  4. 4.     How about if they promise me that I will be able to buy again in less than a year? As of right now and depending on your situation you may be able to buy a home within the next two years. But that’s only if you kept up your credit and your bills. But again every situation is different.
  5. 5.     Would the debt Forgiveness act pass?  Yes it just did, but only until the end of 2013
